Soulbound Threshold: Entry, Waves and the Acolyte Rescue

Before entering

Bring the N’Tormat and a page, activate the reported Shrine of Descent, then complete the Teleporter event and take the Ritual Portal. Keep a rescue candidate if your purpose is Acolyte.

A guide describes the shrine as similar to a Mountain shrine with a floating orb. Its location is not a fixed coordinate in this guide. Check your stage rather than following a fabricated map.

Start and finish the encounter

The published walkthrough describes climbing the ramps and activating the console. Follow the in-game waves and boss objective after starting it. The official screenshot shows combat in progress; it does not identify an exit or a fallen survivor.

The official preview calls this a boss rush and describes a three-minute window. That pre-release value and the visible wave counter are not treated as universal current-mode constants. Keep the game’s own objective in view.

After battle: finish the basic rescue

Inspect the ground for Acolyte before leaving. Reports describe the survivor near the route toward the exit or the boss’s defeat position. Check the interaction and offer a candidate with successful evidence; the item is reported consumed.

Then check survivor selection. The browser route can record that you performed these actions but cannot verify your save or platform achievement.

Optional: investigate the background door

Reincarnation is a separate community-reported route after the boss rush. It is not needed to perform the basic rescue. Open the linked spoiler guide only if you want that optional investigation.
